Sofwave is indeed a very good device.
However, it does not produce the same dramatic results for everyone.

How does Sofwave work?
While well-known lifting devices like Ulthera target very deep layers of the skin, such as the SMAS (superficial musculoaponeurotic system),
Sofwave targets the layer above that—the dermis (about 1.5 mm deep).
The fundamental reason skin loses elasticity and develops fine wrinkles is a decrease in dermal collagen.
Sofwave's ultrasound energy precisely stimulates this dermal layer,helping the skin produce new collagen on its own.

Because it does not affect the subcutaneous fat layer, a common side effect of lifting procedures—cheek hollowness—is not a concern, and

If the deep cheek area beside the mouth is heavily sagging or the jawline has noticeably collapsed,
the cause is that a deeper fascial layer, not the skin surface, has become lax.

In such cases, a treatment that targets deeper layers like Ulthera may be necessary rather than Sofwave which targets mainly the dermis, or
the two procedures may need to be combined to achieve the desired effect.
Also, sometimes the face looks hollowed not from sagging but from loss of facial volume due to aging.
In that situation, instead of repeatedly doing lifting lasers, it's wiser to first restore the lacking volume with filler or skin boosters.

Ultimately, lifting is not about which device is newer or superior.
"Whether the cause of my facial sagging is loss of elasticity, loss of volume, or a structural issue"accurately identifying that and applying the appropriate treatment is the key.
